“ I highly recommend Longhorn Cafe in Boerne, TX!! The food was fresh, delicious and a large amount. The atmosphere was very family friendly. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The first picture is the fried mushrooms which were huge. The second picture is the huge portion of chicken fried chicken, green beans, mash potatoes and a side of gravy for the chicken. The third picture is the huge portion of chicken fried steak, green beans, mash potatoes and a side of gravy for the fried steak. All was quite delicious!! ”
“ Probably one of the best hamburgers I've eaten in 10 years!!! Jalapeno burger came with double meat, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and mustard, on a wheat bun (extra .50 cents), with a "double" order of provolone cheese (extra 1.00). The deal included fries and a large drink all for under 14.00!!! One friend had the Big Juicy and the 50/50 which was half French fries and half onion rings, while my second friend had the Big Juicy with tater tots and large drinks... both approximately the same price as my meal. Burgers were juicy, plentiful on the fixings and plenty of jalapenos on my burger which I like! Everything was cooked fresh to order so it came out hot and ready to eat and the timely manner... old style restaurant where they call out your name to go pick up your food! Restaurant was laid out well and plenty of room to maneuver around. Tables and dining area very clean as are the restrooms... ”
“ Cool place with nice outdoor seating. I ordered a turkey burger and forgot to order it with cheese. But, it didn't even need it. It was juicy and flavorful. My husband ordered the fish basket and said it was delicious. We both enjoyed sweet potato fries. ”

Without hesitation, (the owner/manager maybe?) a gentleman came over, showed incredible kindness, and replaced everything—no questions asked. He even apologized, even though it clearly wasn’t their fault. That level of generosity and hospitality is rare these days. Longhorn isn’t just a place we eat—it’s a regular stop in our routine for a reason. Always great food, even better people. Boerne is blessed to have this place. ”

“ The food is great! The service was also great. It was a little on the loud side inside (was to cold to sit out on the patio/outdoor area) but overall a great experience. Definitely a popular place to dine at. They were busy. I meant to get the chicken fried chicken plate but the chicken friend steak was great! My Husband had a bacon burger, in which he liked. We also had an order of fried pickles. Im not much for most fried pickles at restaurants but I enjoyed them! ”
